This Privacy Policy explains how ProfilePhotoMaker.in ("we", "our", "the Site") handles information when you use our website and photo editing tool. We designed this tool around one core idea: your photos are yours, and they should never have to leave your device.

1. Your photos are never uploaded

All image processing — background removal, cropping, filters, the comic/halftone effect, manual retouching, and the final PNG export — happens entirely inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript. At no point is your photo transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers or any server we control. Closing or refreshing the tab discards the photo completely.

2. Information we do collect

We do not require an account to use the Site. Standard, minimal data may still be collected:

• Server logs: like most websites, our web server may automatically log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and diagnostic purposes.
• Session cookie: the Site may set a technical, non-tracking session cookie used purely to keep the page working correctly. It does not identify you personally and isn't used for advertising or analytics.
• Contact form / email: if you email us, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message, used only to respond to you.

3. Third-party services we load

To run the Site and the editor, your browser loads a small number of resources from third-party providers. These providers may process standard connection data (such as IP address) according to their own privacy policies:

• Google Fonts — used to load the site's typography.
• Tailwind CSS CDN — used to load the site's styling engine.
• MediaPipe (jsDelivr CDN) — used to load the on-device background-removal model, which then runs locally in your browser.

None of these services receive your photo — they only provide static files (fonts, code, and the segmentation model) that run inside your own browser.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This Site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and its advertising partners. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (such as the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, and you can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Third-party vendors, including Google, may also use cookies to serve ads based on someone's past visits to this website.

If you've contacted us by email and would like that correspondence deleted, just let us know at support@profilephotomaker.in.
